Position Summary
Reporting directly to the Dean of the SAHP , the Assistant Dean for Student Affairs shall be responsible for all matters related to AHNO student affairs. The Asst Dean will be a faculty member with a record of achievement in administration, teaching, student advising, and mentoring and will continue educational, clinical, or research activities, understanding that the responsibilities in student affairs will require 20% effort. The Asst Dean will have supervisory responsibilities for the Director of Student Affairs and Student Recruitment Specialist, approval of all SAHP student admissions, and supervise the faculty advisors for the Student Government Association, Student Ambassador Program, and Student Organizations.
