Position Summary
Oversee planning and operations of Community Building (CB) programs. Serve as the main point of contact and coordinate cross-functional teams of students, staff, and faculty to encourage education, training, and dialogue about current events on college campuses.

This position is a two-year time-limited role.

Job Description

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Serves as the point person for the CB Program with internal and external contacts.
  • Develops and delivers communications, marketing, website content development, advancement and publication requests, collaboration and program structure in consultation with Student Affairs Marketing and Communications.
  • Partners with Student Affairs Assessment & Analytics Team to develop baseline data as well as post-event feedback.
  • Supervises graduate student employees.
  • Works closely with the Demonstrations & Disruptions Team to coordinate teams, assign roles, and maintain standards of operations.
  • Collaborates with campus partners inside and outside of Student Affairs to develop broad offerings related to campus issues. (Examples: Election Weeks days of dialogue and community service, interfaith symposium, history of Israel and Palestine).
  • Supports and guides program/event coordination in collaboration with CB Event Coordinator. This may include an orientation event, speaker events, and more.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Salary Range
$49,700.00 - $82,100.00 / Annually

The salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one's qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.
