Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations for students in grades K-8, identifying needs related to motor skills, sensory processing, and functional independence.
- Design and implement individualized occupational therapy interventions to promote student participation and success in the classroom.
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and parents to develop and support IEP goals.
- Provide direct therapy services, both individually and in group settings, to improve fine motor skills, coordination, and other developmental areas.
- Maintain detailed progress reports, documenting student growth and adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- North Carolina Occupational Therapy license or eligibility.
- Experience working in a school setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work with students, staff, and families.
- Ability to manage caseloads and schedules efficiently.
