Minimum Qualifications
Doctorate in a social science related to international development/ humanitarian issues by the time of appointment from an APA accredited doctoral program Ability to teach effectively in areas of international development/ humanitarian issues Experience with and commitment to inclusive/critical, experiential and assets-based pedagogies Work closely with a small GS faculty to advise students on classes, internships, and study-abroad Experience with working effectively in an ethnically and culturally diverse campus community Demonstrate a track record of and/or strong potential for scholarly publication and/or funded research
Preferred Qualifications
Expertise in new and emerging forms of digital media Potential leadership skills in professional or academic areas are desirable Experience with project-based learning, applied learning, and/or service learning Professional experience in areas of specialization, particularly international development and humanitarianism
