Job Description Summary
JOB PURPOSE STATEMENT
Serves as first point of contact for students seeking admission in selective admission health sciences and human services programs, offering program information, coordinating communication among stakeholders (students, families, program directors/chairs/school directors/faculty) related to selective admission processes from initial inquiry through enrollment and post-selection. Completes data management and screening of selective admission application materials for admission process. Participates in recruitment activities for all assigned selective admission programs.

Minimum Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
MINIMUM JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong interpersonal and presentation skills, including the use of correct grammar, punctuation and spelling Coordination, planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills to coordinate calendars and schedules, organize meetings and events, and plan and deliver presentations to a variety of publics Computer literacy and effective use of spreadsheets, word processing, database, and presentation software and business systems Working knowledge of computer software to formulate complex data analyses Ability to work afternoon/evenings and occasional weekends Ability to prioritize and complete work assignments while addressing frequent and varied requests and meeting multiple deadlines
Minimum Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE):
Associate degree in Communications, Health Sciences, Human Services, Social Sciences, or Marketing 2 years’ experience in a position with similar required job knowledge, skills, and abilities

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Representation of assigned selective admission programs at internal and external recruitment events and activities
- Provide pre-admission program information to potential students/families and coordinate student meetings with selective admission program directors/faculty/chairs/school directors to discuss program curriculum and application processes
2. Complete data management and screening of selective admission application materials for all assigned selective admission programs
3. Communicate with students, program faculty/staff, and others the required application information and processes for all selective admission programs
- Maintain ongoing communication with students about their application materials to selective admission program(s). Provide timely communication and feedback about application processes to all program faculty/staff in assigned selective admission programs
- Provide ongoing follow-up information to students regarding program selection processes of selective admission program(s)
- Coordinate advising sessions with Academic and Faculty advisors to ensure timely and appropriate review of required pre-requisite coursework
- Provide support and information regarding all opportunities and options for students not accepted into first choice programs
