outreach and admissions department.

Qualifications
Experience
Bachelor's degree in human services, psychology, counseling, education, social science, business, communications, or closely related field, and two years related supervisory experience; or Associate’s degree and four years related supervisory experience required.

Bachelor's degree in human services, psychology, counseling, education, social science, business, communications, or closely related field, and two years related supervisory experience; or Associate’s degree and four years related supervisory experience required.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

Primary Position Objectives
Responsible for the planning, coordinating, and supervising of the administrative and programmatic activities of the
outreach and admissions department.
Administration Procedures: Brief Description of Duties
- Evaluate staff performance, provide staff training, and implement department and personnel changes as approved by the OA/CTS director and coordinated with the human resources manager prior to implementation.
- Develop departmental budget; monitor and control expenditures; review and recommend changes to budget authorizations.
- Assist in the development and implementation of new and revised policies and procedures affecting outreach and admissions services.
- Review and audit all assigned areas regularly for contractual compliance and effectiveness of delivery of services to students. Prepare related reports.
- Maintain an effective outreach and admissions program to meet contractual goals and quotas; directly recruit students and conduct job development activities.
- Develop and maintain effective linkages with individual agencies, organizations, potential employers, and others who can provide assistance, referral, support services, employment or other services in the recruitment of students.
- Ensure all required forms and records utilized in the recruitment of students are prepared, documented, verified, and transmitted to the data center in accordance with requirements.
- Develop the community outreach and admissions plan in coordination with the business community liaison (bcl) and ensure the plans are adhered to and monitored.
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of reports and other documents to appropriate national, regional, corporate, and center staff.
- Develop and implement admissions counselor strategies and ensure achievement of contracted commitment goals.
- Follows CDSS plan and Code of Conduct system daily.
- Assists with quarterly graduation exercises.
- Adheres to required property control policies and procedures.
- Maintains good housekeeping in all areas and complies with safety practices.
- Complies with all DOL guidelines, OFCCP regulations, Quality Assurance Plan (QAP), Job Corps notices and bulletins, and Center policies and procedures.
- Demonstrates and abides by The Bizzell Group’s core values and operating principles.
- Models, mentors, and monitors appropriate Career Success Standards.
- Participation in PRH-mandated staff training is mandatory. Failure to participate may result in disciplinary action up to and including termination.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Proficiency with advanced Microsoft Office applications including Word, Power Point, Outlook, and Excel.
- Computer Literacy with basic computer functions, email, internet, and basic programs such as Adobe Acrobat.
- Strong knowledge of the subject area of instruction and academic teaching practices.
- High level of communication, interpersonal skills, and organizational skills.
- High level of ability to motivate, inspire, and educate students effectively.
