Job Overview:
The International Expansion Director will be responsible for developing and executing a global growth strategy to scale MUSE Global's educational model across new international markets. This role will focus on both independent school campuses and partnerships with universities, ensuring profitability and long-term sustainability while adhering to the school’s core mission and values.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in international business development, franchising, or partnership management within the education sector. They will work closely with MUSE Global’s leadership team to refine and implement a scalable model that can be adapted to different international markets and educational environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Global Expansion Strategy:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive international expansion strategy that aligns with MUSE Global’s vision and mission.
• Identify and evaluate potential new markets for both independent MUSE Global campuses and partnership opportunities with universities.
• Create a scalable, repeatable framework for international growth, ensuring adherence to MUSE Global’s educational standards.

Partnership & Business Development:

• Establish strategic partnerships with universities, educational institutions, and investors to expand the MUSE Global footprint.
• Negotiate and manage contracts, joint ventures, and licensing agreements for new international campuses.
• Ensure successful integration and adaptation of MUSE Global's model in diverse educational and cultural contexts.

Operational Excellence & Profitability:

• Design a profitable business model for each new campus, including detailed financial planning, operational structures, and revenue forecasting.
• Collaborate with local teams to ensure smooth operations, including compliance with local regulations and standards.
• Develop key performance metrics to measure the success and profitability of international schools.

Brand Alignment & Educational Integrity:

• Maintain brand integrity and educational quality across all international locations, ensuring adherence to MUSE Global’s environmental, sustainability, and innovation-driven values.
• Work with the internal curriculum team to ensure localized education programs meet global standards while relevant to each region’s cultural and educational needs.

Leadership & Team Building:

• Build and manage a high-performing international team, including local leadership for each new campus.
• Provide leadership, guidance, and mentoring to ensure the successful execution of the expansion plan.
• Collaborate closely with internal departments (education, marketing, finance) to support international growth.

Market Research & Analysis:

• Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify viable opportunities and mitigate potential risks in new regions.
• Stay updated on global education trends, competitive landscapes, and regional differences in education systems.

Reporting & Stakeholder Management:

• Provide regular reports to the executive leadership team on international expansions' progress, challenges, and financial performance.
• Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including each region's government bodies, investors, and educational authorities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Education, International Relations, or a related field (MBA preferred).
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in international business development, education expansion, or franchising, with a strong focus on scalability and profitability.
• Proven track record of leading successful international expansion efforts in the education sector.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and partnership-building skills.
• Experience working with universities or other educational institutions is a plus.
• Deep understanding of cultural, regulatory, and operational differences in international markets.
• Passionate about MUSE Global’s mission, sustainability, and innovative education models.
• Willingness to travel internationally as needed.
