Job Details

This position reports to the Enrollment Services Manager and will work collaboratively with colleagues in Enrollment Services, and with academic departments, faculty, and staff across campus in the development and implementation of processes that ensure efficient enrollment, retention, and persistence toward completion of program for all international students at the University. The International Student Services Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating the processing of all immigration documents for J and F visas, and tracking and reporting on regulatory and process changes related to immigration and visa issues. The International Student Services Coordinator also designs, implements, and evaluates programs to engage and develop international students in order to foster an inclusive and diverse community. The International Student Services Coordinator will advise leadership in Enrollment Services and across campus on procedural and/or business practice improvements related to the support of international students.

The successful candidate must possess strong leadership skills, have experience processing immigration documents, and demonstrate an awareness of current issues facing international students in today's higher education environment. The candidate must also possess strong organizational and technical skills, show flexibility in a rapidly changing environment, and display strong problem-solving skills. The ability to communicate clearly and effectively across cultural and language differences is critical.
