Responsibilities:

College Admissions Counseling:
  • Collaborate with students through all stages of the application process, offering guidance on profile development, essay brainstorming and editing, application submission, test score strategy, and deferral letters.
  • Work closely with the CEO to develop and implement individualized student action plans.

Academic Coaching and Mentoring:
  • Serve as a one-on-one academic mentor, providing support in various subjects and/or test prep areas.
  • Complete our comprehensive training programs to identify students' unique strengths and weaknesses, build curiosity and confidence, and guide them through academic challenges.


Requirements:

Eligibility:
  • Willingness to work evenings and weekends when students are available.

Experience:
  • Preferred experience in education consulting or college admissions consulting.
  • Proven success in managing, developing, and/or completing complex projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively on teams

Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree from a nationally accredited university.

Knowledge and Skills:
  • Exceptional written and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively across different departments in addition to leadership, students, parents, and coworkers.
  • Ability to work under pressure and independently in a fast-paced work environment with multiple deadlines
  • Deep understanding of the college admissions process and what it takes for students to gain admission into the world’s leading universities
  • Experience with Microsoft Word and/or Google Docs; familiarity with Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft Publisher, and marketing materials is a plus.
