Job Description
The Associate Director of JD Admissions assists the Associate Dean, Director of Admissions in the day to day maintenance and implementation of a highly strategic and comprehensive recruitment program. The Associate Director is responsible for supporting the Associate Dean, Director of Admissions in all endeavors of the Office of Admissions. Essential Functions (Responsibilities): Reviews admissions applications and makes recommendations regarding admissions decisions. Manages the Law School’s volunteer student ambassador program, including recruiting, training, and advising current students regarding outreach to prospective and admitted students. Counsels with prospective and admitted students through in person visits, online platforms, during tours of the College of Law, phone, and campus visits. Must maintain superior knowledge of the College of Law programming and trends in legal education. Manages multiple events in support of admissions efforts including but not limited to 1) admitted student open house events each admissions cycle and 2) diversity pipeline event. Maintains knowledge on trends in diversity enrollment as well as needs within legal education and the legal profession. Engages with diversity committees both on-campus and within the legal education field including programming offered by The Law School Admissions Council, AccessLex, AALS , and others. Tracks statistics regarding diverse prospects and enrollment and strategize with the Associate Dean, Director of Admissions on ways to meet diversity enrollment goals. Chairs the College of Law Diversity Committee which includes College of Law staff, faculty, and law students. Routinely connects with University Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion to ensure mission alignment. Plays an active collaborative role in overseeing the communication workflow that drives the various segmentation email and digital marketing campaigns for prospects, applicants and inquiry messaging. Performs related responsibilities as required or assigned.

Physical Demands
Ability to travel by car and place and navigate airport, rental car and hotel environments. Representing Tulsa Law at recruiting and speaking events may also require handling various sized bags or boxes of materials weighing up to approximately 20 pounds.

Required Qualifications
Equivalent Education/Experience Bachelor degree required. 3 - 5 years of experience in higher education admissions or comparable administrative work experience involving a high level of responsibility. 5 - 7 years of recruitment experience with a proven track record of increasing enrollment and diversity numbers. Knowledge/Skill/Ability Basic knowledge of CRMs and prospect management databases. Knowledge of LSAC Unite applicant database Strong analytical ability to interpret and use complex data, logical and data-driven work style Demonstrated ability to multitask and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment Proficient with SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook Knowledge of statistical analysis and technical report writing; familiarity creating charts and graphs Demonstrated ability to remain composed and exude a welcoming, professional demeanor in a fast paced, high volume work environment Professional verbal and written communication skills, ability to communicate effectively with prospective applicants and University administration Knowledge of financial aid guidelines, deadlines, and trends Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality. High attention to detail. Strong customer service with strong interpersonal skills. Demonstrated effectiveness in working with diverse groups of people. Comfort with public speaking and presentations Ability to travel by car and plane and navigate airport, rental car, and hotel environments. Representing Tulsa Law at recruiting and speaking events may also require handling various sized bags or boxes of materials weighing up to approximately 50 pounds.

Preferred Qualifications
Preferred: Master’s degree in higher education or Juris Doctorate degree.
