The Assistant Director of Operations, reporting to the Director of Global Experiences Office (GEO), serves as a critical member of the administrative team and provides complex and responsible organization, coordination and support that requires incredible attention to detail and enrollment procedures and processes.

Duties include managing student program enrollment, the transfer of course credit, budget development and budget management. This position will require attention to program billing, cost objects and budgeting, in consultation with the Director of Global Experiences. This position will also review day to day administrative tasks in the office including office coverage in the Global Affairs suites and providing supervision to the student workers. This position will also monitor enrollment in ITRS and work closely with the Director of Global Health and Safety.

Minimum Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and two years of demonstrated experience in budget management and basics of accounting; equivalent education/experience considered. Demonstrated advanced proficiency in Excel. General knowledge of business processes, policies and procedures. Must possess strong interpersonal skills, including an ability to maintain a professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated ability to work with sensitive and confidential matters. Strong organizational skills with strong attention to detail. Must possess the ability to learn and use complex information, and to problem-solve. Must be able to work effectively as team member.

Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and experience in higher education. Supervisory skills helpful.
Database experience. Familiarity with student information systems, e.g. MyRed (PeopleSoft), MyPLAN or Student Success Hub and MyWorld (Terra Dotta).
