International College of Health Sciences (ICHS) is seeking a College Admissions Representative responsible for guiding prospective students through the college application and enrollment process. This role requires exceptional communication skills, a passion for education, and the ability to build meaningful relationships with students, parents, and educational professionals. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in supporting the institution's mission to provide quality education to students seeking careers in healthcare. Located in the vibrant Boynton Beach area of Florida, ICHS is dedicated to shaping the future of healthcare professionals through innovative educational approaches.

Purpose

The College Admissions Representative will be responsible for executing targeted student recruitment strategies, engaging with prospective students, and supporting the overall enrollment process. This role is critical in helping students discover and navigate their educational opportunities.

Responsibilities

Student Recruitment
  • Conduct outreach to potential students through various communication channels
  • Participate in college fairs, high school visits, and recruitment events
  • Develop and maintain relationships with high school counselors, community organizations, and prospective students
  • Create compelling presentations and informational materials about the institution

Admissions Process Support
  • Manage initial student inquiries and provide comprehensive information about academic programs at the institution
  • Review prospective student applications and interviews prospective students
  • Follows up with students to verify any application issues, including discrepancies or missing information
  • Communicate admission decisions and next steps to applicants
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date student recruitment records

Communication and Collaboration
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for prospective students and their families
  • Collaborate with academic departments, financial aid, and marketing teams
  • Represent the institution professionally at various recruitment events
  • Utilize customer relationship management (CRM) systems to track interactions

Qualifications

Education / Experience / Knowledge

Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, preferably in Education, Communications, Marketing or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience where two years of related experience equals one year of schooling.

Required Experience and Skills:
  • 1-3 years of experience in student recruitment or admissions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

Desired:
  • Experience with higher education recruitment techniques
  • Knowledge of enrollment management strategies
  • Familiarity with CRM software
  • Bilingual capabilities
