Admissions Manager, Physician Assistant Program
Job Description:
The Physician Assistant Admissions Manager is responsible for managing and coordinating the admissions process and recruitment strategies for prospective students. This role involves collaborating with faculty, staff, and external stakeholders to ensure a seamless and efficient admissions process. Additionally, the Admissions Manager is responsible for developing the PA program application in CASPA and its integration with the existing institutional CRM platforms.
The Admissions Manager will report directly to the PA Program Director.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Manage the PA program’s CASPA portal, SLATE CRM for admissions, and integrations.
  • Identify and participate in on-campus, off-campus, and virtual admissions recruitment events.
  • Oversee the entire admission process from initial inquiry through matriculation.
  • Manage application processing, including verification of applicant credentials and prerequisites.
  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified applicants.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective students, providing guidance and support throughout the application process.
  • Support and participate in all PA Program admissions activities.
  • Support and participate with PA Program faculty and staff to review, interpret, and evaluate prospective student's academic credentials and application to determine an admission decision.
  • Collaborate with the Chief Marketing Officer in the Office of University Marketing & Communications and others to build and execute communication plans.
  • Interact with and welcome faculty, staff, visitors, students, prospective students, and families to the School of Health Professions facility.
  • Develop reports on inquiry generation, conversion rates and yield, and on updating of marketing materials needed for lead generation.
  • Act as a liaison with Undergraduate and Division of Continuing Studies admissions teams.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the Program Director, Associate Program Director, or the Dean.
  • Some weekend, early morning, and evening hours will be required.

Job Requirements: Education, Experience and Skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; OR, any equivalent combination of experience, training and/or education.
  • Experience working in higher education.
  • CASPA application portal experience. (preferred)
  • Experience working with Slate CRM integrations. (preferred)
  • Knowledge of Physician Assistant Education. (preferred)
  • Knowledge of the graduate admissions process. (preferred)


Salary Range:

$67,000 -$70,000/year

(compensation depending on experience, education, and qualifications)
